With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, the following statement was issued from the office of the diocesan treasurer in order to clarify funds and organizations exempted from taxation via parish dues to the Synod of Bishops and the diocesan administration. Rectors are asked to please acquaint their parish treasurers with these exempted funds, and to take this information into account when preparing dues checks for the second half of 2018, which must be submitted to the Diocese by March 1, 2019.
The Sunday Lecture Series for 2019 will begin on January 27, and continue on February 10 and 24. This winter block of lectures features very interesting topics covering Canon Law, Ministry to the Incarcerated, and the Glorification of the Russian New Martyrs at the ROCOR Council of Bishops in 1981.
