On Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1, the feast of the Laudation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to the Church of Our Lady "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in Cumming (Atlanta), GA.

On Friday evening, Metropolitan Nicholas officiated Matins with the reading of the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos, and on Saturday morning celebrated Divine Liturgy. Co-serving with the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad were: Archpriest Dimitri Oselinsky (cleric of St. Mary of Egypt Church in Atlanta; retired) and parish clergy: rector Priest Eugene Antonov and Deacon Anton Kouznetsov.

The parish choir earned the praise of His Eminence and the clergy, and the service was attended by a large gathering of the faithful.

A lenten luncheon was served in the parish hall, where interaction continued throughout the afternoon.
