On Sunday, September 6, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan paid his first archpastoral visit to Florida. He visited St. Panteleimon Skete in Coconut Creek, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy. This marked the first-ever hierarchal service performed at the skete.

Concelebrating with His Grace at Liturgy were: Archimandrite Maximos (Weimar; skete abbot), Priest Mikhail Mikhailenko (cleric of St. Vladimir Church in Miami, FL), and Deacon Stefan Stoyanov (skete cleric).

Many of the faithful from the community of Resurrection Cathedral in Deerfield Beach came to join the skete’s parishioners in prayer.

Upon conclusion of the service, a bountiful luncheon was served, during which fellowship between the hierarch, clergy, and worshippers continued.
