On June 7th – the First Sunday after Pentecost, that of All Saints – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City. Concelebrating with the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad were cathedral clerics: dean Archpriest Andrei Sommer, Hieromonk Theognost (Kogan), and Protodeacon Serge Arlievsky.

The Synodal Choir sang during Liturgy under the direction of conductor Vadim S. Gan.

A multitude of parishioners prayed at the service, many of whom communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Following Liturgy, Metropolitan Nicholas greeted all with their namesday. "Today the Church celebrates the Sunday of All Saints. These saints have already been glorified by God, and it behooves us to venerate, love, and truly emulate them."

His Eminence also spoke of the approaching Apostles' Fast. "The saints help us attain salvation and live for God. This path is never easy, but as Christ said: ‘Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33). Armed with this spiritual strength, let us rejoice in the Lord and demonstrate to others the purity and truth of the Orthodox Faith. Let us not be afraid, knowing that all the saints are with us."

The sisterhood hosted a traditional meal for all in the cathedral hall.
