On May 24, the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada paid an archpastoral visit to St. Andrew Stratelates Cathedral in St. Petersburg, FL, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were parish clerics: rector Archpriest Igor Chitikov, Archpriest Stephen Zaremba, Priest Michael Criscella, and Deacon Stephan Romanchak.

At the Little Entrance, with the blessing of Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York and the ROCOR Synod of Bishops, Archbishop Gabriel awarded Fr. Igor with the right to wear the miter in recognition of his 35th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood.

The parish choir sang prayerfully. The cathedral was filled with worshippers, many of whom received Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

A festal reception was then held in the cathedral hall, during which interaction continued.
