On Saturday, March 28, the Laudation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence, Metropolitan Jonah (Paffhausen), celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Monastery of St. Demetrios of Thessaloniki in Spotsylvania, VA.

Concelebrating with the Very Most Reverend abbot were monastery clerics Hieromonk John (Filipowicz) and Hieromonk Aidan (Keller). Praying in church was Hieromonk Kenneth (Alonso; rector of the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene in Madeira Beach, FL).

During Liturgy, before the Trisagion, Fr. Kenneth, now the Hieromonk Gregory, was tonsured into the Angelic (Lesser) Schema in honor of the Holy Hierarch Gregory of Nyssa. May Hieromonk Gregory be saved in the Angelic rank!
