Moscow: ROCOR Pilgrimage Delegation, led by Bishop Theodosius, participates in Patriarchal Divine Service

On March 15, the Sunday of  the Cross and the feast of the Appearance of the "Reigning" Icon of the Mother of God, a pilgrimage delegation of the Russian Church Abroad, led by Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan, vicar of the Eastern American Diocese, participated in the celebration of Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. Officiating the services was His Holiness Kyrill, Patriarch of Moscow & All Russia, concelebrated by hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, representatives of Local Orthodox Churches, and Moscow city clergy.

The service was  held under the aegis of the "Reigning" Icon of the Mother of God.

Following the communion of the clergy, His Grace, Bishop Theodosius, together with Archpriests Peter Perekrestov (dean of the Joy of All Who Sorrow Diocesan Cathedral in San Francisco, CA) and Peter Holodny (ROCOR cleric), congratulated His Holiness on the 50th anniversary of his hierarchal consecration. They presented him with a commemorative icon – painted on the occasion of the centenary of the Russian Church Abroad – and a greeting from its First Hierarch, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York.

Interaction between His Holiness, the archpastors, clergy, and participants of the service continued over a luncheon held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
