On Sunday, March 8, the high school students of Holy Epiphany Church in Roslindale (Boston), MA held a second bake sale at Roche Bros. Supermarket in West Roxbury, one mile from the church.

In November 2025, Mother Maria (Valle) visited the parish and spoke with the youth about the Orthodox School in Bethany. The students became inspired to help the school; they reached out to the management of the store and obtained permission to sell bake goods to the general public and to solicit donations.

From their bake sale, the youth raised $1,000 in cash donations; additionally, others donated directly to the Bethany School via their QR Code. More importantly, the youth created awareness about the situation facing Christians in Bethany. Many of the locals asked questions and showed genuine interest.

The parish school will continue to raise funds for Bethany during Great Lent up until Lazarus Saturday.
