On Monday, February 16, the newly consecrated Bishop Michael of Boston, vicar of the Eastern American Diocese, celebrated his first Divine Liturgy as a hierarch in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY.
Concelebrating with His Grace were monastery and diocesan clergy. Praying in the altar was monastery abbot Bishop Luke of Syracuse.
Singing at the services was the seminary choir under the direction of Deacon Nicholas Kotar.
At the conclusion of Liturgy, the archdeacon intoned the Polychronion for the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, celebrating his namesday on the feast of Holy Equal-of-the-Apostles Nicholas of Japan.
