On Saturday, January 17, members of the ROCOR mission in the Dominican Republic participated in the grand opening of Innova Clínic, located in the largest resort center of Punta Cana.
The moleben and blessing of the facilities was served by Priest Rafael Martinez Gonzalez, rector of Misión de San Serafín de Sarov in Punta Cana. He was accompanied by the mission’s warden, Sergey N. Nikulin.
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation, A.V. Seredin, was also present at the clinic’s opening.
The project is being implemented on the initiative of St. Petersburg residents I.A. Terentyev and A.I. Krylova in cooperation with local specialists.
It is noteworthy that the high-tech medical center employs both Russian and Dominican doctors who received their training in Russia.
