New York City: Final 2025 Meeting of ROCOR Synod of Bishops Opens at Synodal Residence
On Tuesday, 9 December, on the feast day of the Holy Hierarch Innocent, Bishop of Irkutsk, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and the members of the Synod of Bishops prayed at Divine Liturgy in St. Sergius Church in the Synodal Residence of the First Hierarch in New York City.
After the service, proceeding to the meeting hall, Metropolitan Nicholas opened the meeting with a greeting and a brief report on his visits, services, and plans.
After approving the agenda, which was previously distributed by Bishop Theodosius of Seattle, deputy secretary of the Synod of Bishops, the archpastors began their work.
