From Saturday, August 30, through Monday, September 1, Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY will host its annual Labor Day Weekend pilgrimage. Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, will officiate the divine services, co-served by monastery abbot Bishop Luke of Syracuse and Bishop Job of Stuttgart, vicar of the Diocese of Germany.
The Protectress of the Russian Diaspora – the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God – will be present at the divine services for veneration by the faithful.
Saturday, August 30
3:00 PM – Procession to the Dormition Cemetery Church, greeting of Pochaev Icon. Return procession to Holy Trinity Cathedral, moleben and akathist to St. Job of Pochaev. Communion Rule to follow.
