Jordanville, NY: Schedule of Services for Labor Day Weekend Pilgrimage

From Saturday, August 30, through Monday, September 1, Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY will host its annual Labor Day Weekend pilgrimage. Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, will officiate the divine services, co-served by monastery abbot Bishop Luke of Syracuse and Bishop Job of Stuttgart, vicar of the Diocese of Germany.

The Protectress of the Russian Diaspora – the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God – will be present at the divine services for veneration by the faithful.

Saturday, August 30

3:00 PM – Procession to the Dormition Cemetery Church, greeting of Pochaev Icon. Return procession to Holy Trinity Cathedral, moleben and akathist to St. Job of Pochaev. Communion Rule to follow.

6:00 PM – Supper

7:00 PM – All-Night Vigil

Sunday, August 31 – Holy Martyrs Florus & Laurus

6:00 AM – Early Liturgy

9:00 AM – Hierarchical Liturgy

6:00 PM – Vespers

7:30 PM – Small Compline

Monday, September 1

8:15 AM – Greeting of Metropolitan, Hours, and Divine Liturgy. Procession and panihida at grave of Metropolitan Laurus, commemorating Metropolitan Laurus, Archbishop Alypy, Archimandrite Serge, and Archimandrite Flor.
