On the night of Thursday the 24th into Friday the 25th, Deacon Lev Opie (cleric of St. Nicholas Church in Palm Coast (Bunnell), FL, reposed suddenly. He was 68 years old.

The future Fr. Lev was born on May 19, 1957 in Alexandria, VA. He married Elizabeth Estrada on February 26, 1984, and on September 29, 2008 was ordained to the diaconate by Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America & New York.

Fr. Lev is survived by his Matushka Elizabeth, daughter Mary, and granddaughter Elizabeth.
