On May 4, the 3rd Sunday of Pascha, that of the Myrrh-bearing Women, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, Bishop Seraphim of Kostajnica, vicar of the Diocese of Mid-America & New Gracanica of the Serbian Orthodox Church, celebrated Divine Liturgy in Our Lady of Vladimir Church in Coronado, Costa Rica, not far from the capital of San José.

Local clergy concelebrated with His Grace. The church was filled with local parishioners and pilgrims from North & Central America, with many praying outside on the portico. Virtually all approached to receive Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Bishop Seraphim greeted the clergy and faithful with the ongoing days of Holy Pascha and their patronal feast, and delivered a sermon on the life and labors of the Holy Myrrhbearers.

А outdoor luncheon was organized for all on church grounds.
