On Friday evening, April 11, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York officiated the Sacrament of Holy Unction in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

A multitude of cathedral parishioners and those from other churches in the city came to take part in the divine services and the Sacrament of Holy Unction.

The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad addressed those present with an instructive sermon, after which he and the priests anointed the participants of the Sacrament with holy oil.
