On Wednesday, December 4, the great feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada paid an archpastoral visit to Our Lady "Unexpected Joy" Church in Staten Island, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were Archpriest Vasily Zelenyuk (parish rector) and Deacon Nicholas Ilyin (cleric of Holy Protection Church in Nyack, NY).

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, Archbishop Gabriel congratulated all the communicants of Christ’s Holy Mysteries and then delivered a sermon on the feast. He likewise greeted the rector on the anniversary of his ordination to the holy priesthood.
