On Wednesday evening, April 10, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York performed the Sacrament of Holy Unction in Nativity of the Theotokos Church in Albany, NY.

Serving the Sacrament alongside His Eminence were: Archimandrite Theophylact (Clapper- de-Well; cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY), Archpriests Michael Fritz (parish cleric) and Alexis Duncan (parish rector), Hieromonk Anatoly (Zilin; cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery), and Protodeacons Michael Soloviev and Nikifor Franklin (parish clerics).

Upon completion of the service, Metropolitan Nicholas greeted Fr. Alexis, thanking him for his invitation to officiate the Sacrament, and thanked all of the clergy for their joint prayers.
