On Sunday, September 10, the Holy Church celebrates the feast of the Uncovering of the Relics of Venerable Job of Pochaev in 1659. Due to the long Labor Day weekend, Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, holds a popular pilgrimage in honor of the beloved saint, one of the monastery’s Heavenly patrons. On the feast itself, however, the monks also serve All-Night Vigil and celebrate hierarchal Divine Liturgy in the lower Church of St. Job.
The monastery abbot, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse, officiated the divine services. After the Eucharistic Canon, Subdeacon Theodore Foley (a third-year student of Holy Trinity Seminary’s Master’s Program) was ordained to the diaconate.
