On Thursday, July 13, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, visited the Orthodox Church in America’s historic Holy Trinity Diocesan Cathedral in Chicago, IL.

Metropolitan Nicholas was hosted by the ruling bishop of the OCA’s Diocese of Chicago & the Midwest, His Eminence, Archbishop Daniel.

Joining Metropolitan Nicholas and Archbishop Daniel were Bishop John of Caracas & South America, as well as a large delegation of local ROCOR clergy.

Following the tour of the cathedral, the hierarchs had the opportunity to discuss inter-Orthodox relations and shared goals regarding the spread of Orthodox Christianity in North America.
