On Bright Saturday, April 22, clergy of the New Jersey Deanery gathered at St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ, where they celebrated Divine Liturgy.
The dean, Archpriest Serge Lukianov, served senior, concelebrated by Archpriests Vasily Andrejuk and Boris Slootsky (clerics of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ), Abbot Arseny (Manko; rector of Sts. Cosmas & Damian Church in Passaic, NJ), Archpriests Paul Ivanov (rector of Holy Myrrhbearers Church in Brooklyn, NY) and Serge Ledkovsky (deputy rector of the Memorial Church), and Priest Anthony Williams, Protodeacon Paul Drozdowski, and Deacon Dimitry Lisan (clerics of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral).
The choir sang beautifully under the direction of Julia Kovalev.
Upon conclusion of Liturgy, a procession was held around the Memorial Church, with many repetitions of the Paschal greeting: "Christ is Risen!"
After the service, the sisterhood organized a wonderful picnic luncheon in the open air.
