On Sunday, January 15, the commemoration of the Repose and Second Finding of the Relics of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada visited Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY, on the occasion of the patronal feast day of its main St. Seraphim Cathedral, and celebrated festal Divine Liturgy.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Archpriest Alexander Fedorowski (cathedral dean) and convent clergy: Priests Artem Siss and Alexei Klar, and Protodeacon Serge Arlievsky.

The choir sang the divine services under the direction of Matushka Maria Fedorowski. Praying at Liturgy were the sisters of the convent, led by Abbess Makaria, as well as a multitude of pilgrims. That day, many communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, Archbishop Gabriel congratulated the clergy and faithful with the feast.

A festal meal was served to all in the main convent dining hall.
