On Saturday the 18th Sunday the 19th of June, the Sunday of All Saints, Bishop Theodosius of Seattle officiated the All-Night Vigil and celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Ascension of our Lord in Holy Ascension Convent on the Mount of Olives. Serving alongside His Grace were Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), and monastery and visiting clergy. Praying in the church was convent’s rectress, Abbess Barbara (Novikova).

Singing at Divine Liturgy was the Patriarch Tikhon Russian-American Music Institute (PaTRAM) male choir, under the direction of Elias Dubelsten. The church was filled with pilgrims, many of whom received Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon conclusion of Liturgy, Bishop Nicholas addressed the faithful with a sermon. Fr. Roman also thanked the visiting hierarchs and choristers from around the globe for the joy of their shared prayer that day.

An abundant meal was served in the monastery refectory. That same evening, Bishops Theodosius & Nicholas attended the second concert of Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil in Nazareth.
