On March 27, the Sunday of the Cross, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan led the Sacrament of Holy Unction in Holy Myrrhbearers Church in Brooklyn, NY.

His Grace was co-served by Archpriests Andrei Sommer (dean of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City), Vasily Zelenyuk (cleric of Holy New Martyrs Church in Brooklyn), Paul Ivanov (parish rector), Vasyl Yurina (parish cleric), and Serge Ledkovsky (deputy rector of St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ) and Priest Nikolai Gulin (cleric of Sts. Peter & Paul OCA Cathedral in Jersey City, NJ).

Upon completion of the Sacrament, Bishop Nicholas greeted Fr. Paul, thanking him for his invitation to officiate the service, and thanked all of the clergy for their joint prayers.
