Royal Days Pilgrimage to Ekaterinburg 2020 – Deadline extended to February 29th

PILGRIMAGE CANCELLED 02 March 2020

With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, Archpriest Vladimir Boikov is organizing the 2nd ROCOR Pilgrimage to Ekaterinburg for the Royal Days celebrations in July 2020.

The pilgrimage will be led by His Grace Irenei, Bishop of London & Western Europe, run between 6-19 July, and include the following significant feast days: the Nativity of St. John the Forerunner (the diocesan cathedral’s patronal feast), Holy Right-Believing Prince Peter and Princess Febronia, the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God (patronal feast of the New Tikhvin Icon Convent), the Imperial Family’s Three-Handed Icon of the Mother of God (Παναγία Τριχερούσα), the Holy Leaders of the Apostles Peter and Paul, and of course the celebrations around the feast of the Holy Royal Martyrs, including the Royal Cross Procession and the Venerable Martyrs Elizabeth and Barbara.

The centenary pilgrimage held in 2018 was very successful, and it is hoped that this will be just as good, and that maximum benefit will be had by the pilgrims on the Russian Golgotha. This is a pilgrimage of prayer (with nine hierarchical Liturgies in 12 days), dedicated to the great martyric struggle of the Royal Family.

If you are interested, please send an e-mail to frvlad@xtra.co.nz to receive the exact itinerary, price, and all other details – space is limited to 50 and the registration will close at the end of February 2020, so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
