On Saturday, April 20, the feast of the resurrection of the Righteous Lazarus, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Myrrhbearers Church in Brooklyn, NY, and celebrated Divine Liturgy there.
Concelebrating with His Grace was Abbot Vladimir (Zgoba; rector of Unexpected Joy Church on Staten Island), parish rector Archpriest Pavel Ivanov, Priest Nikolai Gulin (cleric of Sts. Peter & Paul OCA Church in Jersey City, NJ) and Deacon Eugene Grigoriak (cleric of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Brooklyn, NY).
The parish choir sang the divine service beautifully. A large number of parishioners came to lift up their prayers, and many of them communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.
After Liturgy, a luncheon was served in the parish hall.
