On Tuesday, July 18, the feast day of the Holy Venerable Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth & Nun Barbara, the sisters of St. Elizabeth Skete in Jordanville, NY celebrated their patronal feast day.

The All-Night Vigil on the eve of the feast, July 17, and Divine Liturgy on the feast day itself, July 18, were led by the abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery, Archimandrite Luke (Murianka), co-served by monastery clerics Hieromonks Anatoly (Zilin) and Gabriel (Astrahankine).

A multitude of pilgrims filled the skete in order to pray in the small monastic church. Upon completion of the divine services, a luncheon was served for all in the courtyard.

The sisters offered their thanks to all who came to share in the joy of the feast.
