The clergy, sisterhood, and parishioners of Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY have been continuing their ongoing renovation project for the monastery’s reception hall, which has been closed since the mid-1980s. The convent hopes that the hall will be used for luncheons for the faithful after Liturgy, and also serve as a catering hall available for rent. Work has already begun on the dining room and kitchen, but it is proving more difficult and expensive than originally anticipated.

In order to raise money for the remodeling project, the convent’s benefactors are organizing a pelmeni luncheon fundraiser, to which you are cordially invited and which will be held on Sunday, February 8, at Otrada Russian Cultural Center at 1:00 PM:
