On Bright Saturday, April 18, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ, where he celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy. At the entrance to the Memorial Church, dedicated to the Millennium of the Baptism of Rus’, the First Hierarch was greeted by deputy rector Archpriest Serge Ledkovsky.

On Bright Saturday, April 18, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw), celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy in Nativity of the Mother of God Church at the New Kursk Root Hermitage in Mahopac, NY. On this day, clergy and parishioners gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of His Grace’s ordination to the priesthood

On Bright Monday, April 13, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, and Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where they celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy.

On the night of Sunday, April 12, the clergy and parishioners of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City celebrated the principal Christian feast – Christ’s Glorious Resurrection.

"I wish you all that is bright in these days," writes the Holy Hierarch Theophan the Recluse, "and, for their sake, in all the days to come. The Lord is always sweetness, and joy, and repose! Strive always to be with the Lord, and you will always celebrate the Radiant Pascha."

On April 10, Great and Holy Friday – the day on which the Holy Church commemorates the holy, saving, and awesome sufferings and death of our Lord Jesus Christ –Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York officiated the divine services in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City

On Thursday, April 9, toward the conclusion of Passion Week, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy for Great and Holy Thursday (commemorating the Mystical Supper) in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Tuesday, April 7, the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Annunciation Church in Flushing, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy in honor of the parish’s patronal feast day.

On Tuesday, April 7 – the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos – His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, celebrated the festal Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Sunday, April 5 – the great feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday) – Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City, co-served by Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan. The evening prior, on April 4, he officiated the All-Night Vigil and the blessing of palms together with Bishop Theodosius.

On Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of April, the great feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse, officiated the festal divine services in Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. Serving alongside His Grace were monastery and visiting clergy.

On Sunday, April 5 – the great feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday) – His Grace Michael, Bishop of Boston celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Xenia Church in Methuen, MA. The evening prior, on April 4, he officiated the All-Night Vigil and the blessing of palms.

On Saturday, April 4, the feast of the Raising of the Righteous Lazarus, four days dead, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, and His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY, and concelebrated Divine Liturgy.

On Friday evening, April 3, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York officiated the Sacrament of Holy Unction in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Thursday, April 2, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to St. Michael Church in Wayne, NJ, where he performed the Sacrament of Holy Unction.

On Thursday, April 2, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York visited Holy Protection Church in Nyack, NY to officiate the funeral of Deacon Andrei Antchoutine (cleric of Holy Virgin Intercession Church in Glen Cove, NY), who reposed in the Lord suddenly on Monday, March 30.

On Tuesday evening, March 31, after the conclusion of Great Compline, His Grace Luke, Bishop of Syracuse, performed seven monastic tonsures at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, including four into the Angelic (Lesser) Schema, and advancing three novices to the status of Rassophore Monk.

On the evening of Tuesday, March 31, at the Church of the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in Hartford, CT, the Sacrament of Holy Unction was served by a gathering of priests from the Russian Church Abroad and the Orthodox Church in America.

On Monday, March 30, in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal & Canada and Bishop Jerome (Shaw) officiated the funeral service for Isaiah Trofimenko, a singer in the Hierarchal choir, who reposed on March 23.

On Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of March, the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, dedicated to Venerable Mary of Egypt, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Luke of Syracuse paid an archpastoral visit to the eponymous church in Roswell (Atlanta), GA, where he officiated the divine services on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast.

On Monday, March 30, Deacon Andrei Antchoutine (cleric of Holy Virgin Intercession Church in Glen Cove, NY), reposed suddenly. He was 32 years old.

On the evening of March 29, the 5th Sunday of Great Lent, dedicated to Venerable Mary of Egypt, the Sacrament of Holy Unction was served by a gathering of local priests in the Church of Our Lady "Unexpected Joy" in Staten Island, NY.
