Two years ago, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, blessed the founding of a woman’s monastic community in the Russian tradition, using English as its liturgical language and under the spiritual administration of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY.

Finally, at the end of this summer, a property with buildings was found near West Winfield, NY. On Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd of November, the feast of the "Quick to Hear" Icon of the Mother of God – the community’s patronal feast – All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy were served. Archimandrite Luke (Murianka; abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery) led the divine services, and then blessed the property.
