conjunction with the publishing of "A Church Singer’s
Companion" on the diocesan website, His Grace George, Bishop of
Mayfield, released the following statement:
publishing of 'A Church Singer’s Companion' in English on the
diocesan website is a shining example of the fruitful cooperation
between the Eastern American Diocesan Music Committee, St. Romanos
the Melodist Society, and the diocesan Media Office. The publishers
of the Companion have made a tremendous contribution to the
preservation of the choral tradition of the Russian Church Abroad,
and I believe that our parish choristers will truly value this
marvelous publication. St. Romanos the Melodist Society is in need
of material assistance for the continuation of this project and I
call upon our good readers to respond and donate to this holy labor.
The giving hand will never falter!"
